Changing helper services with ArcGIS API for Python

Is it possible to change helper services like Route Service Layer with ArcGIS API for Python? Through the REST API https://<portal>/<webadaptor>/sharing/rest/portals/self, it's possible to do this manually, but I can't manage to do it through python.
