how to enrich existing assets with new fields by using workforce

I have a list of objects which all have to be inspected, by using Workforce.

The objects to be inspected are available in a hosted feature service.

from this hosted feature service i can make assigments.

During the inspection i want to enrich the existing objects with new fields.

So i made a new survey123-based feature layer with the new fields.

i managed to start the Worforce assigment with the correct survey and the new feature layer is filled , but there is no ''connection''  by means of an ID or Globall ID  by which i can join the two feature layers.

The only connection is  the location on the webmap .

So i'm missing the link. How can i solve this or is there a better approach ?

There is way to connect them together. When you're setting up the survey, you have to add another field that is hidden to pass the ID of the workforce record over. When you are in Workforce configuration for Survey123 integration, after selecting the survey you select the field you wish pass over
