Workforce Tracking

I want to use Workforce to help for disaster management.  We have PII restrictions and privacy issues we need to iron out before we use it. 

My questions are these:

Does the Workforce app store locations of field workers locations?

How does the Workforce app store locations?

Can we have workforce never store location data? Can we delete it?

Any documentation on these questions would be great

Does the Workforce app store locations of field workers locations?

Yes, it stores the location of the device locally prior to uploading it to the feature service every 60 secs.

How does the Workforce app store locations?

In an sqlite database. It only store the most recent location and only when the Worker sets their location to Working.  When set to Not Working or On Break, the location is not updated.

Can we have workforce never store location data? Can we delete it?

You can deny location services, in which case, it will not record or update the location.
