Raster Calculator doesnt show expression box

My raster calculator expression box appears to be missing

Has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it without using python?

Original User: curtvpricei know this is an old thread but i have a student with this problem as well and would love to hear the solution. yesterday was "patch tuesday" and it appears a Win update has caused his issue. raster calc was fine before that.

It looks like a case of XML stylesheet hell. The first thing I'd try to [thread=90079]resetting your student's app profile. [/thread]

@curtvprice he is not asking why there are no data layers in the list @ top, he wants to know where the expression box (below the list and above the output raster box) went.

Your data frame is empty!

You need some raster layers in your map (or if in Model Builder, raster model elements) to select them in the interface.

If you add some raster layers to your map, you will see some entries in the list.
