HTTP 417: Expectation Failed error when trying to connect to Server

Hello all,

I'm encountering problems when trying to add a Server connection in ArcGIS for AutoCAD 350 (AutoCAD 2014). I get the http 417 error when trying to connect to any server (tested ArcGIS Online and our own server) or add Esri Basemaps. Did anyone have the same problem?

We assume that our proxy-server is causing the problem. Does anyone know how to set the proxy in ArcGIS for AutoCAD?

where do I have to set the proxy variable? I don't use AutoCAD in my daily work, I'm just trying to get this to work for our planning department. So it would be great if you could walk me through the setup.

all_proxy=User:Password(at)IPAdress:PortNumber
