WAB Updates

Question

So I am in the process of customizing the stemapp in the Web Appbuilder.  What happens when there is a WAB update?  Do I have to do it all again?

I am documenting the process, but would really rather not make all of these changes again.

If you change code other then create your own custom widget/theme, I think you need to do it again if you get a new release.

Unless you add your WAB to some version control like GitHub or something, then yes you would need to redo them each release. I don't have not added WAB to any source control yet but I have seen some threads on this previously.
