Creating Grid

Question

I want to create a grid.Can any body tell me is there a way of doing it other then fishnet tool....???

Because if i want to increase or decrease the number of cells in it can i do it.....??like we do ir in MS word.....

Yes you can. Just re-run the tool, set number of rows and columns that will result to your desired number of cells. If you set a specific number of rows and columns in the wizard, I think you should also set the cell size width and height to 0. ArcGIS will compute it automatically depending on the rows and columns you've set. Is this what you're looking for? 🙂

why not fishnet?

I always use Fishnet. Other than Fishnet, you can try using Hawths Tool.
