Densify Tool failed in Pro with SDE data

Question

In ArcGIS Pro 2.4.1, I was trying to use the Densify tool on a line feature class from SDE (SQL Server) with one line feature selected.  The line feature has both straight and true curve parts to it.  I'm using the Offset Method with the value set at .5 feet.  Densify fails.   ERROR 000224: Cannot insert features

The tool works just fine on the same feature class when I export it to a File Geodatabase.

Anyone know if this is a Bug?

I too am seeing this with a PostgreSQL feature class.  Me thinks it's a bug. I'd recommend contacting Esri Support Services to log an incident and get a bug number.
