Cannot select "Sketch tool(s)" in Editor Toolbar

Hello Editor threads
I cannot select "Sketch tool(s)" in Editor Toolbar as the attachment. Can you inform me how to enable sketch tool(s).

Yoshi,

Did you ever figure this problem out?   I have encountered this 10.2 (Standard) while in and Edit Session.   I don't see a logical reason for this error.

EDITED:  I just found this thread that explained it.   Editor tools greyed out

The short reason why this is occuring is there are no layers selected to participate in the Template.  Once you have

I'm afraid to confuse the thread: I've tried "add-in" for ArcGIS 10 to have sketch method of 9.3, but it could not be installed even after re-starting ArcGIS. This is not a question, but I post this information supposing might be help to think about the conditions of the original question.
