Add new blank layout view to map document

Question

Dear All,

Is it possible to add a new blank layout view to a map document (ArcGis 10.1) additionally to the existing one. Similar to AutoCad where you have the data view and the layout. Here you can add as much new blank layout as you want or need (e.g. for detailed view).

As Neil says you can have many frames on your layout sheet but I believe you can only have one sheet per map document.

If you want to do a different map without losing your previous map I reckon you have two options:

*      save your views using bookmarks (not effective if you change layout or data)
*      make a copy of your map document

In ArcMap you insert a new data frame. Several frames if you like. These can then have different locations on your layout.
