Carlson GPS paired to Esri Collector App?

Has anyone successfully connected a Carlson external GPS unit to the collector app? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! I know Carlson gps units are Hemisphere based.

Here is a link to connect the Carlson Brx6 with the Collector app from Esri. This works only in android and windows.
