URL parameters with web apps

While passing a URL parameter to a generic map works

http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?find=380%20new%20york%20st,%20redlands,%20ca

I don't seem to be able to use them with a pre-saved map in my own organization, specifically a web app.

http://myorganization.maps.arcgis.com/apps/OnePane/basicviewer/index.html?appid=xyz?find=380%20new%20york%20st,%20redlands,%20ca

Is there any way to do this? I'm interested in embedding this in an iFrame and having addresses filled in as a variable.

Unfortunately, the web application templates don't support any URL parameters.

Any plans in the near future to support this feature?  It would be a great feature to be able to zoom to a specific area/level of a web application map.
