aquiring a tool

Question

hello,

i am trying to use image classification tool on my free trial arcgis, but the button appears in gray and is not avialble

is there a way to use this tool on the free trial version?

In desktop, under the Customize Toolbar, Select Extensions and make sure it us checked.  ArcMap and ArcCatalog act independently, so you will need to check it in which ever software you are using at the time.  Since all the extensions come with home use, if it was me, I would just check them all on.

Go to Customize, Extensions menu, and toggle on the Spatial Analyst extension (assuming you registered the extensions).  Select an image and the tools should be enabled (at least for my installation and arcmap 10.3.1)
