Kernel density of crime data

I want to reate a crime hotspot map using kernel density but I received an error message saying output raster is empty.I didn't understand what has gone wrong.

I want to reate a crime hotspot map using kernel density but I received an error message saying output raster is empty.I didn't understand what has gone wrong.

I have done this a couple of times and the function is rather specific, you need to use a shape file and may need to save it to a more general location on you C drive.  Kernel density is one of the ways that we show hot spot, but keep in mind that it does not take into account geography.
