AGOL - Viewing attached photos in popup

Hey gang-

Is there a way to view the image of an attached photo in the pop-up in AGOL? Attached photos merely show up at the bottom of the popup as a link (i.e. - Attachments: photo1.jpg) and then it opens a new browser tab to display the picture. Is there a trick to see the picture right in the popup (like the way Operations Dashboard does)? I know how to do this for an image with a URL by making a field to hold the URL as an attribute, but I don't know the URL of attached photos coming in "live" from the field.

Out-of-the-box, this functionality is not available yet. I would recommend promoting this idea:

The online help in the Configure Pop-ups section implies this might be possible. Under Show Images, step 5 Enter the URL to the image (bold is mine)

"Optionally enter the URL to an image stored on an external website, on ArcGIS Online, or as an attachment within the layer's data. PNG, JPEG, and GIF images are supported."

Where would I find the URL?
