I'm trying to explore ArcGIS Excalibur, I published Image layers and tried to access them through Excalibur, Its displaying error that imaging layer doesn't support query operations and when I tried creating a imagery project it is also showing an error

Error encountered in the Catalog Search View It appears the imagery layer you are trying to use does not support query operations. Please check the layer you are trying to use or notify a system administrator.

Where am I going wrong ? Are there any prerequisites to be done before doing this catalog search or creating Imagery project?
