Circumstances requiring a user to log in to Collector

I have a user who has logged in to the Collector app with an enterprise log in.  The user states he does not sign out of the app but is occasionally required to log in again when starting the app.

Are there circumstances (besides signing out of the app or changing a password) that would require the user to sign in to the app again?  He is using Collector for ArcGIS version 10.4.2 on iOS 10.1.1.

I have several users that complains about that they are forced to login several times during a day since a few weeks ago. They have a Enterprise login and iOS.

Was there any changes in the Arcgis Online release in March?
