MapServer or FeatureServer for FeatureLayer (not for editing)

Hi,

If I don't intend to Edit, is there any advantage to using the FeatureServer over the MapServer resource for a FeatureLayer?

No, I don't think so.

Technically, there is no difference if not editing the feature. 
The feature server will only show up when "feature access" turns on before publishing the server.
