Problem about spatial join?

Hello,

I have a problem about spatial join tool.

I have polygon data and point data (generated from polygon data), then I do some process with point and I want  to put attribute data from point back to polygon by using spatial join tool.

After using spatial join tool, I got the result that all of them have SHAPE_Area = 0.

Why did it happen?

Any advice would be thankful.

I'm sorry for that.

I don't project my data, I just change the coordinate system in Add Geometry Attributes tool.

The polygon file's geometry is not changed and there is only 1 geometry field.

You lost me.  Are your projecting your data? or just changing the coordinate system? The polygon file's geometry parameters shouldn't have changed, but from your dialog, it looks like it is in the wrong place... do you have more than 1 shape geometry fields?

This is my table.

But it's my misunderstanding. I've just found that it happens because of Add Geometry Attributes tool.

After using spatial join tool, I use Add Geometry Attributes tool with UTM 48 coordinate system.

(I run the tool in the ModelBuilder)

Some data have an error but some data don't have an error.

All of them have SHAPE_Area = 0.

I tried changing the coordinate system from UTM 48 to UTM 47 and it works.

None of them have an error and SHAPE_Area <> 0.

Then, I tried changing the coordinate system back to UTM 48 again and this time it works.

I'm doubt. Do you have any ideas about it?
