white legend box transparent

Hi,
It would be great to set the background white colour of a legend box to transparent. It works with other colours (using the eyedropper or by checking on 'Simulate layer transparency in legends' but this will only work on a white background hence colours other than white.

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly, but if you go to legends properties you can set the background of the legend to "no color" which makes it transparent.

Simulate layer transparency changes the patch colors to be closer to what they are in the map when the display property is set to make them transparent.
