Attaching a geodatabase

Question

Hi,

I am going through some old Database Servers tutorials and getting an error dialog box when trying to attach a geodatabase (SQL Server 2008) to ArcGIS 10.5 (Editor) running SQL Server 2014.

Is it a compability problem, and/or how can I resolve it?

Have you tried to attach the .mdf via SSMS and not via ArcMap?
