Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could clarify the role/importance of the “stream quality control” tool.
If my objective is mainly to burn streams from a stream feature class and calculate drainage basins (associated to synthetic streams generated later on) and the stream grid (raster), produced through the “create drainage lines” tool, looks good and includes all streams that seem linked together, can I assume that my drainage basins will be calculate properly even if I haven’t run my stream feature class through the “stream quality control” tool?
Long story short: can I skip stream quality control if I just want drainage basins and the stream raster I burn in looks fine?
Thanks and I apologise if the questions sounds a bit odd or confusing.
Alex.
