Text Halo Shifts When Exporting from ArcMap

I'm having an issue with text halos in ArcMap 10.5.  They look fine in ArcMap but when I export to pdf, tif, jpg, eps etc the halo shifts (in my case the halo looks too small and squished in from the left and right behind the text).  I've tried changing fonts, exporting at different DPI, I have 0 spacing and I'm going bonkers trying to fix it.  Anyone have a solution? Thanks

Hi Charlene,

I fixed this issue.  I found the following technical article

ArcMap uses information from Windows' default printer and our server didn't have a printer installed.  Once I added the printer my export was fine.
