Jewelry Box Theme

Hi. Can someone tell me what the sliding left panel in the jewelry box theme is for? I can't figure it out. Nothing I do seems to put anything there.

Mary,

You can add a widget to the panel in the jewelry box theme by clicking on the plus button as indicated in the attached image.

Mary,

You can add an About widget to the left panel to achieve that purpose.

Thanks. Now I see. I was also hoping it would be a way to include text like descriptions or instructions that could be collapsed by the user when not needed. Oh well...
