Scale issue when importing model

Question

I'm importing a model (.obj) into CE that was created in Sketchup but when it is imported the scale is way off.  I know I can scale the model manually but this defeats the purpose since the CE model needs to show the proposed development exactly to scale (not a rough guess).  How do I convert the model in CE?  What characteristics do I need to gather from Sketchup?

Make sure the units are in meters in your Sketchup model, since CityEngine's scene uses meters.
