How to auto correct lines that overlaps the underlying polygon,point or line?

Hi all,

 

I have a line feature class, how can i auto correct them say suppose if they pass over an underlying point, line, polygon they should avoid that point, line or polygon automatically. Is there any geoprocessing tool that i could take help of doing this.

 

Any help will be appreciated.

You can't make a layer that is on top of another layer go under the latter layer.  The order in the table of contents is the drawing order and it takes precedence ... you can set a transparency for the symbology of the layer on top so that you see-ish the one underneath
