Portal Web DR Tool

Question

Hi,

Is the Portal web dr tool backwards compatible? If we do a software update on the standby server e.g. move from 10.5 to 10.6 can we load backups that have been generated by an older version? Note that the 10.5 active node is still up and running.

If not, is there a way to enable a read-only mode on the Portal for ArcGIS active node?

The backup from DR tool is not backwards nor forwards compatible.  It can only be restored to the version used to create the backup.

As for read-only mode, this is something we are investigating for future releases of the software.
