This is normally done by extruding between 2 surfaces which created a multipatch geological layer. You will need 2 TIN surfaces (top surface and bottom surface) and a polygon layer containing input features that defines the area you wish to extrude.See Toolbox -> 3D Analyst Tools -> TIN Surface -> Extrude Between
Hi everyone,I have a dataset which have x,y,z of each point. In other words, base on these data I have the the thickness of different geologic layers. I want to create solid geologic map in 3D in ArcGIS. I tried to install "BlockDiagram" from the link below, but I could not. Does anyone know how can I install this extension.http://arcscripts.esri.com/details.asp?dbid=12632Please help me if anyone knows other ways to create 3D solid geologic map.ThanksMina
