ArcGIS Online for Organization - Feature Services

Question

Hi,
I noticed something that I need someone can confirm... I was thought that if you published a Feature Service to AGOL for Organizations you can edit the layer using any client, i.e., web browser, mobile devices, and Desktop. I know for a fact that accesing the FS through my web browser (web map or web app) I can edit the FS, as well as through my mobile device (iPhone or Android). I was trying editing the FS through ArcGIS Desktop but it alerted me it cannot be done.

Is that true?

What am I missing?

Hi Ernesto,

When you add the service to the map, did you right click the group layer it creates and choose the option Create Local Copy for Editing?
