Installing ArcGIS Server 10.1 in an Enterprise GIS environment.

Question

Hey everyone,

I am installing ArcGIS for Server 10.1 Enterprise Edition in two virtualized servers : 1 Production and 1 Standby.
Would the multiple machine site deployment scenario suits this business case or is it more suitable to do a Single machine site deployment on each virtual server?

Please kindly advice on that.

I found out that a high availability configuration is the way to go to match the clients needs and requirements.
Ok, could you provide more details about NLB in a high availability configuration?
I seem to struggle to find some technical operational documentation on it... You can have passive/active configuration as per your organizational needs.

What do you mean by passive/active configuration?

I have already been here and it helped me a lot to define my architecture. I choosed three-tier configuration.
