Limited Location Tracking Layer

Question

I created a Location Tracking Layer on AGOL, with the need to collect a location every ~2-3 seconds on a moving vehicle, but I am limited to a minimum of 30 seconds through the "Settings" page.  Is the only work-around to buy Geoevent Server and use a Verizon json or xml feed and set it to the desired frequency that way?  Any suggestions?

There is no explicit limitation in terms of the frequency of locations used; this is can be changed through by the updateInterval property in the web map JSON. Of course, this is "an at your own risk" change.
