"clipping" HydroSHEDS watersheds shapefile

I have watersheds shapefile from HydrosSHEDS  website. I would like to extract my own watershed of interest. Is there any way to "select" particular watersheds (in my case several subwatersheds that will comprise one big watershed) ? (Clipping to boundaries of AOI is not an option)

You could select the features interactively, select by location or select by attributes.

Then, you could Export selected records as a dataset.
