How to renew "ArcGIS Default" under Certificates and Keys (Beta)?

Hi everyone,

I am looking at the new Certificates and keys (Beta) settings in my organization. Our standard "ArcGIS Default" certificate shows an expiration date coming up in August 2026.

Since this feature is in Beta, I have a few quick administration questions:

• Will ArcGIS Online automatically renew this default certificate when it expires?
• If manual action is required, do I use the "Generate self-signed certificate key pair" button to replace it?
• Will letting this expire disrupt our active SAML/SSO user logins?

We followed the directions here: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/trust-arcgis/administration/action-required-arcgis-online-saml-customers

We downloaded the new metadata file, which contained both the old and new certificates, and uploaded it to the SAML provider. The security page in ArcGIS Online is still showing the August 2026 expiration date, which isn't a very good user experience, in my opinion.
