Field Maps App Crashes immediately (IOS ver 26.2.1)

Hi,

We had a field map created that we were using last week. The recent update has caused the app to crash immediately after opening and then keeps crashing the app. Tested on Android and IOS app version 25.1.0 and it works fine.

I believe this might have something to do with related tables because we have other maps that work fine.

Any solution to this?

Are you sourced to the Esri Vector Communtity Basemap as your default basemap? I had to change from this because it instantly crashed. We also run into the issue now where attachments don't work with the latest field maps update. It's been a mess.

EDIT: We're in the process of trying to figure out the attachments issue with ESRI and the basemap issue is a logged bug. BUG-000185842: ArcGIS Field Maps crashes when accessing a map with the Esri Canada vector basemap after updating to 26.2.0.

The issue seems to be related to the ESRI Canada Hybrid Imagery basemap. It was working last week but the update on Friday seems to have introduced a bug.

We ran into the same issue. We ended up replacing the Imagery Hybrid basemap with the Topographic basemap and everything seems to be working okay.

As Travis suggests, there is an issue with the Canada Community Vector Basemaps which is leading to a crash in Field Maps. The team is currently investigating. Can you confirm if this is the basemap you are using @TonyDaSilva1 ?

Cannot find a basemap that does NOT crash the field maps app. V26.x any other ideas as to why editing in a very simple map with one hosted layer is crashing files maps app when we try to edit data? Thx!

I have the same issue. On my tablets running version 25.1.0, everything works fine, but on those running version 26.2.1, the application crashes regardless of the basemap being used.

I have referenced the support case again to ESRI today...I will try and find a tablet running 25.1.0. that is a good find! Thank you.

Esri Canada resolved the issue. However, we had to reapply the new style files (JSON) to all the vector tiles that make up each basemap of community map Canada. Everything is now working for us.
