June 2026 Update: Experience Builder Table Widget Header Styling Issue

After the recent update, I noticed that the table widgets in all of my Experience Builder apps are having styling issues. Specifically, the first column header is no longer following the same styling as the rest of the headers. I have my header text set to white with a colored background, but the first column header appears blank because the text remains white while the background styling is not being applied correctly.

Just for your reference, I'm not sure it was a caching issue. I have my browser set to clear the cache when I close the browser, and I had started with a completely fresh browser when I first tried that.

Thank you for the feedback. I tried reproducing the issue again, but it works correctly on my end. Could you try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps? I'm wondering if this could be a caching issue, as we implemented the patch a little differently than usual to get the fix to you as quickly as possible.

@Shen_Zhang, the issue doesn't seem to be resolved. Steps to recreate:

Create a new blank fullscreen experience
Bring in a feature layer from Living Atlas (I chose Alternative Fuel Stations)
Add a table widget to the page:
1. Mode: Select layers
2. Select the feature layer
3. Under the table options, change the header background color to #9861b1 (the purple in the screenshot below)
Sort the data view being used in the table (in my case, I chose "City Name" ascending)

This issue has already been fixed. The selected column header now retains its configured background color when the column is sorted, so it remains consistent with the other headers. Please let us know if you run into any further issues. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!

Yes! I'm soring by OBJECTID so that makes sense now. I hope they revert back or let us decide if we want specialized styling for sorted fields. I guess my work around for now is to make my text look similar to yours without using the white text. Thank you for sharing!

Is the white field used in the data view sort? I'm seeing the same thing for those fields. In my case you can still see the text because of the colors I've chosen, but it looks strange to have those fields be white for no apparent reason.
