Fieldmap offline areas - user download

Hi,

I am having issues with fieldworkers not being able to download their own areas onto the device.

I can create offline areas (predetermined) for them which work, but if they need to download an area when I am not available to create them it fails.

I am not familiar with understanding the troubleshooting logs in fieldmaps to know what to look for.

Any insight?

It looks like we have the same issue. We started having this issue this June

Our field staff are having a hard time with offline downloads as well over the last 3 days and into this morning. We typically use the Imagery hybrid base map. Is there a basemap that has a better chance of working? I tried streets and topo with little success two days ago and plan to test them again this morning. Thank you!

ok, thank you.. I just confirmed with our portal admin fellow that when he created the embedded credentials on the imagery it was using esri imagery

If these are ESRI basemaps that you have added to your Portal as an item, you would have still been impacted from this issue as you are still referencing those services. Can you confirm if thats the case? If these are you own basemaps using your own data, it sounds like the problem may be unrelated.

Hello, thank you all for reporting this. Are you still experiencing issues today downloading offline areas? There were intermittent issues with the packaging servers yesterday which may have caused this, see: https://status.arcgis.com

yes, we followed the ESRI directions to create offline enabled image basemaps, which work well as we can create predetermined offline areas and have no issue downloading. The only issue is when a user wants to create their own offline area, it fails.

Just confirming, this is a basemap you have curated for use, or it is an ESRI offline enabled basemap?

First round of troubleshooting discovered the ESRI Hybrid Imagery Basemap is causing maps to not download offline. When switching to the Streets Basemap, it downloaded with just the basemap, and then again with a layer from a previously failing map that contained the Hybrid Imagery.

Same issue here. Cannot download areas that haven't been created in ArcGIS Online ahead of time.

I am having the same problem. Maps that downloaded last week are failing today.
