ArcGIS Online- Standardized Domains at Organization Level

Hello Esri, 

As AGOL becomes more equivalent with Enterprise Geodatabases, I'd like to see if your team has thought about adding a tool to standardize domains across the organization's account. Ideally this would be a list of universal domains that could be managed at an org or group level and consumed by numerous feature services/datasets.

Adding support for this idea from our side. We maintain many hosted feature layers that rely on the same controlled value lists — contractors, asset status, material types, and similar. Right now each domain lives on the individual layer, so one change means editing every affected layer by hand or scripting it through the ArcGIS API for Python. A reusable, org- or group-level domain library that multiple feature services can consume — with edits propagating to every referencing field — would remove a lot of manual overhead and finally bring AGOL in line with geodatabase-level domain management in ArcGIS Pro.
