So My company tracks deliverables in a dashboard using a survey 123 form. I would like to be able to apply a filter to only show the current year and incomplete work as the default to anyone using the dashboard without have to apply filters individually. This would just be nicer than having to scroll through hundreds of records to get to this years records or have each person apply a filter every time they open it. I have tried putting a filter on the embedded content data options as well as putting a set filter within the table widget, but even though I update and save, it always reverts back to no filters.
Any help or direction would be great.
The cleanest fix is to push the filter down to the data source. Create a hosted feature layer view off your Survey123 layer, set its definition filter to current year and status not complete, then point every dashboard element at that view. Filters set inside widgets tend to revert, but a view bakes the rule in for everyone. No per-user clicks needed.
