Alerts Question - 2025.1

Question

I am setting up Alerts for our organization, but am a little confused.  I am getting Alerts on map service features, my example relates to Request Response Time Max.  According to the image attached, i need 3 samples, but the screen shot for the last 12 hours only shows 2 instances of the issue occuring above the warning level.  According to this, I am a little confused why this would show up as an alert.

Hi @SteveFoley1978

From the looks of it the Alerts are functioning as intended.

Since you are within the Alerts tab, what you are seeing is that 3 samples have already been collected and 2 Alerts have been registered within ArcGIS Monitor Server.

If you wanted to see the samples being collected before the Alert is generated go to:
Monitoring page > GIS Server (or whatever name you provided) > Metrics subtab > Request Response Time Max

In my example below I'm using Request Rate to show how the "Warning Alert" registers on the 3rd data point collected because my sample rate is set to 3.
