Every day, Esri staff and distributor team members log into this online community where they answer user questions, share updates, and engage with members in numerous other ways that lead to better ArcGIS products and services.
This work takes place beyond the sphere of Esri’s traditional Technical Support services and naturally provides a more personal connection than product documentation. Over and over, we hear from our colleagues that they’re motivated to devote time to engaging with members in Esri Community because they recognize this is a uniquely special opportunity to connect with users of the products they either create or support in some other capacity. By including Esri users as trusted stakeholders in the product lifecycle, everyone benefits.
Esri Community is meant to be primarily run on the peer-to-peer collaborations of Esri users; however, Esri team members make up a significant portion of the engagement activity. In 2025, Esri team members produced 43% of all confirmed solutions to members’ posted questions, along with publishing over 13,000 posts that include new topics, replies, and over 1,300 original blog articles. That amounts to a huge outreach and information exchange!

“When we're not able to get together at conferences, Esri Community is a great way for people to stay in touch, connect, be inspired, troubleshoot very much in a kind of classic discussion board, social media type of manner, but very much supporting great GIS work.”
—Sam Perkins | Senior Account Manager, State & Local Government
Leading Esri Staff Contributors
In addition to the broad-reaching appreciation we extend to all involved staff and distributors, we’re providing special recognition to groups of five Esri team members who contributed the greatest number of posts across three highly impactful categories:
Accepted Solutions: Accepted Solutions are answers supplied to members’ questions that have been confirmed as having resolved the question.
Blogs Authored: Blog articles play an important function in Esri Community by supplying readers with relevant news like product release details, event information, Esri user stories, or detailed use-cases.
Replies on Ideas: Ideas Exchanges are hubs for Esri users to share feature requests and Esri staff may engage with those requests to enhance their use case understanding, to connect users with existing solutions, or to exchange other valuable insights.
Names with the star (★) symbol additionally met the criteria of our 100 Club category of staff contributors.
The 100 Club
We’re additionally highlighting a list of other Esri staff members who, through dedicated involvement, reached an exceptional level of participation we refer to as The 100 Club: those who published a minimum of 100 posts OR received 100 kudos in the last year.
