Reminder how to move from arcgis online to arcgis pro, adding census tract lines

Question

I'm trying to open a map in arcgispro in order to do something I don't know how to do on online (reestablish lines drawn where the census tracts are) but when I try to add data or open map from online on arcgispro it only lists an older differently named version of the map (one that still shows up as the screenshot for the map online if that's relevant). I have saved repeatedly. Am I forgetting a step to make it viewable on arcGIS pro?  I'd also appreciate help with census tract thing in meanwhile, like do I need to create a new layer for that or can I add it to an existing one? But would still need tom resolved the Arc Gis import issue longer term.

Hi @JB82,

To see a layer's source in ArcGIS Pro, double click the layer in the Contents pane to open the Properties, then go to the Source tab; this will show you the data type, location (path or URL), and more.

If you're working with a hosted feature layer, you'll see the URL. You can use that to add the layer to a map in either ArcGIS Pro or Map Viewer. when I clicked open in arc gis pro it gave me a download so I don't think so

Are you working with a hosted feature layer? If so, any edits you make in Pro will automatically save to the layer.
