Hi - I can open your public map id:98089c942bd547c98e0fd6f402730d44 OK - it's got quite a lot of features stored within the map, so it's a bit slow opening, but it opened OK for me. So I dont think there's anything funamentally corrupt about this map, maybe the retrieval of the map with all those features causes a problem in your case? I know that different browsers will have different abilities to display lots of features, so if you're having problems with the same map it may be worth experimenting with some different browsers (I used IE8, but I understand Chrome and Firefox may be more efficient for showing lots of features).
OK, a repaired version is now saved and shared with your group again. I'll stay in the group this time, if you like, so that if you have the problem again its a bit simpler for me to fix for you. The offending feature this time had an object ID of 59, and a the title 'Biking', with a TypeID of 1 - the geometry had two sets of coordinates but the lonitude value for both was being stored as NaN. Apologies for the continuing problems.
Just sent it. I wasn't sure if you were going to help or another staff person, that's why I didn't send the invite earlier. It's ready now.
I'm afraid we've not been able to gather any good information about how the failing features get created, so unfortunately cant offer any advice on avoiding this bug entirely. We do have a fix we believe will prevent the map from saving with bad data in future, so after the next update of the website, I would not expect to see this happen again. FYI - I didnt get any invitations to the group so cant fix the map yet.
The problem is back again. The new document number is 9eb26ae91f3946528569ddd31561d330. I will add the support person to the group. Is there anything we can do to prevent this from recurring?
I've saved it and shared it with the group. Thanks again.
Thanks for that - same problem as above, so again I have removed a geometry which had been created incorrectly (it was an 'Existing Bike Trail' feature number 117), and made a copy of this map - I saved it back to the same group, as <original name> - Copy. Let me know when you have saved back your own copy of this map and I'll delete it.
I have added you as a group member. Thanks for the help.
Sure, if you send me an invite to your group, I will try and fix it - my username is sgill. (I cannot access any maps unless they're shared publically, or shared with a group of which I'm a member).
I just experienced the same problem with a document created by a member of our group. The document is shared with a group, but not public. The document number is b1a6c9dc54304050bd5967a8537a3cc6.
Could you please also fix our GIS document the document ID = 83cde3432ab04e27919695ad16769ffc
