Since DJI is marketing the new Matrice 4E as their upgraded mapping drone, are there any plans to incorporate future use for the ArcGIS Flight app?
DJI claims this will be the new mapping workhorse, building upon the Mavic 3E.
Good question @LenOlyottMountIsa ,In order to use the M3E or the M4E with ArcGIS Flight you must download the 5.2 (or newer) version of ArcGIS Flight as well as install the Flight Connection Android app on the drone's controller. This app helps the iOS version of Flight, running on the iPad, communicate with the newer DJI drones like the M4E. Instructions on how to implement this workflow can be found in the ArcGIS Flight Documentation .But we're not done with Android. We are also currently working on a version of ArcGIS Flight which will be redesigned to operate directly on the drone's controller with no iPad in the mix. This app will be an Android application as all the new drone controllers imbed Android devices. Were hoping this will greatly simply field operations by eliminating the need of having to connect an iPad with the controller which in turn connects with the drone.
@AustenThum @BrentPierce I notice this status is changed to implemented. Does this mean that there is now an Android version of ArcGIS Flight that can be used with Mavic drones?

@JeffreyEbner Thanks for the feedback. We are working on support DJI's Matrice 4 Enterprise (M4E) drone right now and hope to be able to support this vehicle in our next release of ArcGIS Flight. We are also certifying use of DJI's D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Base Station and hope to support that hardware in the same release. @AustenThum FYI
