Export map with pie chart

Question

I have been unable to export, (using ArcGIS Desktop 10.3.1) a map showing pie charts.  Can this be done?  I'd prefer a .pdf format.   - Thanks in advance.

I know how to export a map to pdf, but when I try with pie chart symbols they don't show up in the pdf map for some reason.

Yes it is possible.

Go to symbology and add the data who's chats you wanna make.For exporting as pdf do the below mentioned steps.

* Click the File menu and click Export Map.
* Navigate to where you want to save the export file.
* Click the Save as type drop-down arrow and click PDF, EPS, AI, or EMF.
* Type a file name for the export file.
* If selecting PDF go to advanced menu and select the 3rd option.
