Hi all,
I am currently assisting on a StoryMaps project with the end goal of having the Collection of StoryMaps displayed on a touchscreen monitor for an interactive museum display.
This is the first time I have consulted on a project for the purpose of an interactive exhibit. Admittedly, this may be too broad of a question, but are there any guidelines or best practices around the more technical monitor / display requirements or what features in StoryMaps/Collections to include and/or avoid?
The final layout of the StoryMaps are currently in progress. At this point it will consist of either a Collection with overview map (similar to Our Favourite Stories of 2024) or a map tour with media actions that will open the embedded content within the tour. The individual stories will include various media types including songs, videos, images, and maps.
Any suggestions or guidance is appreciated especially from previous experience with similar exhibits.
Thank you,
Christine
