Modify the Locate tool symbology

Question

Is there currently a way to modify the output symbology from the Locate tool beyond the default circle and letter symbol? If not, could this question be transferred and submitted as an Ideas post or will I have to resubmit it myself? It would be useful to provide this customization feature. Thanks!

As a possible workaround depending on your workflow; consider dumping locations of interest out using right click --> Add To Feature Class. This populates a feature class that can then be symbolized, etc., as desired.
