Map Image Layers - Configure Pop Ups in map viewer

Hello,

is there any way to customize the pop up of Map Image Layer outside of the classic map viewer?

I know that I can change the pop ups of map image layers within the new map viewer for a specific map. There you can't however save the pop up for the layer, so that it appears the same way in all maps and applications (like it is possible for feature layers).

Is there any way to do this? I like the options of the newer map viewer for pop ups and want to use them.

Hi Marc, Saving to Map Image layers is not yet supported in Map Viewer, but is on the roadmap. For now the workaround is to save the configuration to the map as you have been doing.
