Does 'Enable Sync' need to be ticked on to make a Survey123 submission?

Hi,

Does 'Enable Sync' need to be ticked on to allow a submission from Survey123?

I don't want it on, I have no need for offline use or distributed collaboration, however when I untick it I get an error  'supportApplyEditsWithGlobalIds must be true'.

I'm using Enterprise 11.1.

Is seems 'Enable Sync' does need to be turned on in Enterprise to allow Survey123 submissions.

Which means 'Track Changes' cannot also be turned on so webhooks can't be used.

Seems utterly pointless, when this isn't the case in AGOL.
