Enterprise Builder-licensing and core

Hi, 

I have 11.1 Enterprise Builder. Per this support article (https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-to-determine-the-arcgis-enterprise-core-license-num-000027856#:~:text=ArcGIS%20Enterprise%20is%20licensed%20by%20the%20number%20of,cores%2C%20four%20additional%20core%20licenses%20can%20be%20obtained.) the ArcGIS server is licensed for 4 cores. 

Since this is all on one machine (Enterprise Builder), how can I have additional core allocated to, say the Portal component, 4 cores or more....? My thinking, an 8+ core server would be fine as long as 4 core is for the ArcGIS server. Any documentation or information would be helpful for specifically the Enterprise Builder use case.
