Making reports (or Map series) that mimic Survey123 reports?

I've inherited a series of Survey123 surveys as well as report templates (for S123, MS Word Docs) for each one.

I'm wondering if there's an easy way to use the MS Word Docs as templates for reporting through Pro, rather than through the Portal?

I know I could definitely approximate some of it with dynamic text, .etc, but these templates have checkboxes and stuff.

Has anyone tried this?

Have you gotten anywhere with this? I've got a similar project and I'm finding Reports in Pro to be quite cumbersome to work with.
